Game Night
is the
Perfect Date Night!!!
Here’s a few of our favourites for you to try!
1. Azul Duel
The Vibe: Elegant, competitive, and brainy.
Why it's perfect for Date Night: If you’ve ever played the original Azul, you know it’s beautiful but can get mean. Azul Duel is specifically designed for two players. It keeps the satisfying tile-drafting mechanic but adds new strategic layers that make it feel like a true head-to-head fencing match of wits. It looks gorgeous on the table and plays in about 20-30 minutes.
2. Rivals for Catan
The Vibe: Building, trading, and settling (just for two).
Why it's perfect for Date Night: The original Catan often falls flat with just two people, but Rivals was built from the ground up for couples. You each manage a principality of cards, building roads and settlements to out-produce your partner. It’s less about aggressive blocking and more about optimizing your own little kingdom. It’s a great way to see who the better city planner is without ruining the evening!
3. Cascadia: Rolling Hills (or Rolling Rivers)
The Vibe: Peaceful, nature-themed, and puzzling.
Why it's perfect for Date Night: If you want something lower-stress where you aren't directly attacking each other, this is it. These are "roll-and-write" versions of the smash hit Cascadia. You roll dice to collect wildlife and habitats, filling out your own personal map sheet. It’s satisfying, quick, and lets you chat while you play. Plus, the nature theme is very relaxing.
